Front view of the Building built with help of voulunteer fundraising

Building has not been easy for us to do it but out of fundraising by volunteers , we have been able to do all possible to put up this block which cost $ 8333.0 worth. This is equivalent to 15 million Uganda Shillings. There is nothing that can't cause a change at Martyrs School however small is may be.
This permanent Block has two classrooms for students.

WHERE WE ARE AS OF NOW

Adele was the first among the Volunteers to come to Uganda and she found Uganda Martyrs a good place to live in . She was so educative because she new some music and she could teach some teachers how to play a guitar.

Thanks Adele for all that you did and what you are still doing for us .

THE START OF THE ORGANISATION SCHOOL

The project started teaching students in temporary structures with inadequate roofs. When it rained, students would stop studying until it stopped. There are many students were as can be seen but they lack enough furniture so it is a matter of creativity to find ways to do their work.
During this suffering period, we started getting some volunteers. The first was Miss Adele Hooft from Canada,Marlene Van der Mass from Holland, Ben Garden from New Zealand, Lieke Kraut fro Netherlands and friends like Peter from Sweden and James from Canada .
They contributed a lot to the development of the project through giving novels, scholastic materials , sports items like balls etc.
A lot of thanks goes to Adele Hooft for the great work of fundraising she is doing in Canada to see that the project moves forward. May God reward her abundantly!
She is a Volunteer co-coordinator of the project and she is doing a wonderful job .
